Vetoryl is used to treat dogs with hyperadrenocorticism (Cushing's Disease). This medication treats both pituitary-dependent and adrenal-dependent cases, and controls the excess production of cortisol caused by the disease.

How is Vetoryl Capsules sold?
Vetoryl is sold in 30 count packs and available in 5 mg, 10 mg, 30 mg, 60 mg or 120 mg capsules.
What are the side effects of Vetoryl Capsules?
In rare cases poor/reduced appetite, vomiting, lethargy/dullness, diarrhea, and weakness have been observed. Occasionally, more serious reactions, including severe depression, hemorrhagic diarrhea, collapse, hypoadrenocortical crisis or adrenal necrosis/rupture may occur.
What special precautions are there?
Use Vetoryl with caution in dogs with liver or kidney disease. Vetoryl Capsules should not be given to dogs taking certain medications or dogs that are pregnant.
What to do if overdose?
In case of overdose, contact your nearest animal emergency hospital.
How can I store Vetoryl Capsules?
Store capsules at controlled room temperature 25°C (77°F) with excursions between 15°-30°C (59°-86°F) permitted.
Helpful Tips:
If Vetoryl Capsules are discontinued or not given as directed, excess cortisol production can resume and the signs of hyperadrenocorticism can return.

22 to 44 lbs           1 capsule of 60 mg daily
44 to 88 lbs           1 capsule of 120 mg daily
88 to 132 lbs         1 capsule of 120 mg plus 160 mg capsule daily (180(Insert Space)mg total)
Over 132 lbs         Administer based on your dog’s weight. Speak with your vet for correct dosage.
