Product Description
SURPASS (1% diclofenac sodium) Topical Anti-Inflammatory Cream delivers 12 hours of sustained release and only requires twice-daily application as opposed to other topicals which require applying the cream four to six times per day. SURPASS® is the only the only FDA-approved topical NSAID application in horses for the control of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis (OA) in hock, knee, fetlock, and pastern joints in horses. It contains WISDOM™, which is a patented and proven multi-layered liposomal delivery technology exclusive to SURPASS. SURPASS provides enhanced delivery through the skin barrier. It doesn't just treat the symptoms; it modifies the disease itself.

Who is Surpass Equine for?
Horses
Why use Surpass Equine?
SURPASS doesn’t just modify the symptoms of osteoarthritis, it also modifies the disease itself. - Enhanced delivery through skin barrier – via patented multi-layered liposomal delivery technology. - Sustained release of relief for 12 hours. - Apply two times per day vs. four to six times or more with other topicals labeled for humans. - Targeted, lower drug levels for reduced systemic uptake and reduced potential for side effects.
How does Surpass Equine work?
Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti- inflammatory drug (NSAID) with analgesic properties. The mechanism of action of diclofenac, like other NSAIDs, is believed to be associated with the inhibition of cyclooxygenase activity.
