Novox (Carprofen) Chewable Tablets are used to treat pain and inflammation from conditions such as arthritis and other joint diseases, including hip dysplasia. It is also used to reduce fever. Available in strengths of 25 mg, 75 mg and 100 mg in bottles of 30, 60 or 180 ct. The usual dose is 1 mg/pound by mouth every 12 hours. Periodic liver and kidney function tests must be done.

What are the side effects of Novox Chewable Tablets?
As a class, cyclooxygenase inhibitory NSAIDs may be associated with gastrointestinal and renal toxicity. Effects may result from decreased prostaglandin production and inhibition of the enzyme cyclooxygenase which is responsible for the formation of prostaglandins from arachidonic acid.
What special precautions are there?
Keep away from children. *Do not use in cats or pregnant/nursing animals. Should not be used in dogs exhibiting previous hypersensitivity to carprofen.

Store at controlled room temperature 15°-30°C (59°-86°F).
