Lantus (Insulin Glargine Injection) helps control your cat’s diabetes mellitus. This injectable medication helps regulate blood sugar in cats. When your cat has a normal level of glucose in the blood the body works as it should and your cat will have fewer diabetic symptoms. Lantus is a long-acting form of insulin formulated for injection underneath the skin. Available in Solostar 3 ml prefilled pen and 10 ml vial.

What are the side effects of Lantus (Insulin Glargine Injection) 100 units/ml?
The most common side effect of insulin, including Lantus, is low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), which may be serious and life threatening. It may cause harm to your heart or brain. Symptoms of serious low blood sugar may include shaking, sweating, fast heartbeat, and blurred vision. Other possible side effects include : allergic reactions, injection site reactions, lipodystrophy, pruritus, rash, edema and weight gain.

Keep away from children. Do NOT dilute or mix Lantus with any other insulin or solution.
