How can I store Cosequin DS Capsules?
Store in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight. Keep lid tightly secured to ensure freshness.
Cosequin is available in five different formulations, each designed for specific needs depending on the overall health of your pet. Regular Strength Cosequin is ideal for the needs of smaller dogs.
The recommended initial administration period is four to six weeks; however, some dogs may respond in a shorter period of time. The number of Cosequin DS capsules may then be reduced to the maintenance level. The capsules can be pulled apart and the contents sprinkled on the pet's food. Wet or moist food is preferred to ensure that the pet gets the entire amount.
Once consistent improvement has been seen, these maintenance levels may be reduced to an every other day administration. The maintenance level can also be used long-term on healthy dogs to help support their joints
